West coast of Scotland. We stayed in a friend’s house on Knoydart which is a peninsular only accessible either by hiking across mountains or by boat. We watched otters play and had amazing walks with views across to the distinctive shapes of the islands of Eigg and Rum.

This is one of a series, done over a year at FarmED, a centre for regenerative, sustainable and wildlife farming, local to the artist in Chipping Norton. The paintings were mostly done during weekly visits, sitting in fields and woods and following the seasonal changes.
