ISLE OF COLL, west coast of Scotland. I went to Coll with a good friend who had friends who lived and worked on Coll and who we stayed with, enjoying a Ceilidh, hearing the successfully re-introduced corncrakes rasping call and marvelling at the wonderful machair of wildflowers edging the beaches.
