I went to Jersey two summers, to look after my Grandson, while his mother was leading a Mesolithic archaeological dig. We explored beaches and camped out with the archaeologists.

He was a baby (about 7 months old) this summer and I carried him in a front baby carrier down (and back up) lots of steep steps to this lovely beach. It was well worth the effort, and we spent an idyllic few hours playing on the beach, in the shallow streams and pools and walking out at low tide, to the little island with the castle ruins.
