This was a painting I did as part of work to celebrate the bicentenary of Samuel Palmer’s birth. Author Shirley Toulson and I made a pilgrimage to visit the places in the South West which he had painted. I did my own interpretations of these places. These foxgloves were on the coast at Tintagel Castle.
